2 bodies found in Darlington County

Authorities were investigating the discovery of two bodies in separate locations in Darlington County last week.
On Christmas Day, Dec. 25, “a deceased individual” was discovered in a field near Bay Branch Road and Plaza Road near Lamar, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office said.
County Coroner Todd Hardee ruled the death a homicide. He said the incident most likely took place Christmas Eve. He identified the victim as Zyshonne Kaveon McCullough, 21, of Bishopville.

And in a separate case, multiple agencies were investigating a body found Dec. 21 in Darlington County woods.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources says deputies were alerted to the body off Oates Highway early that morning, according to local media reports. One report said the incident might have begun with a hunting trip.
The name of the victim was not immediately known.
