Epps awarded scholarship

Gracie Epps (right) of Darlington was awarded the Karen Woodring Scholarship given by Xi chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. The one-time award of $500 is given to a female graduating senior from Francis Marion University pursuing a career in education. The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Xi chapter consists of members from Darlington, Florence, and Lee Counties. Gracie is student teaching at Cain Elementary.
