Back To School Bash held in Lamar

The Lamar Back To School Bash was held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Lamar Family Care, 301 West Main Street, in Lamar. The event was coordinated by Darlington City Councilmember Howard Nettles, Genesis Healthcare’s Director of Community Outreach and Engagement. Welvista, Humana and Darlington County Fire District also contributed materials and resources, as well as food. Duke Energy supplied the clear backpacks and pencils for the public.
