Back To School Essentials Drive held in Society Hill

The Back to School Essentials Drive was held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Society Hill Community Center, located at 223 Hall Street. The event was sponsored by KLC of Charleston, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Dept., All For Christ Ministries, The Tyme Is Now, Joye & Company, First Citizens Bank of Darlington, Nick’s Corner Cupboard, and Senator Gerald Malloy. Fully-packed bookbags were distributed along with other books and educational materials. There was also information to assist with the well-being of children and their families.
