King and Queen chosen at Council on Aging
Tuesday, February 14th, the Darlington County Council on Aging held their Valentines Day Breakfast and drew names for the King and Queen.
DCCRC hosts ‘History Speaks’
The Darlington County Cultural Realism Complex, Inc. (DCCRC) will host ‘History Speaks’ event on Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 pm at 302 Pearl Street.
Joint meeting with historical groups
Recently, representatives from the S.C. Archives and History Dept. joined members of the Darlington Historical Commission and Museum and other groups to discuss the importance of historic preservation, city beautification and passing on a rich legacy of historic appreciation.
CPRMC medical staff discusses cardiac care, diet, prevention of stroke and heart attack
On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, a panel of medical staff held a “Lunch and Learn” at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) to discuss with the public the risks of heart attack and stroke, as well as medications, treatments, proper diet, exercise and other changes to improve one’s health and, possibly, prevent more serious complications.
