Darlington’s Little League Senior All Stars 16U and Junior All Stars 14U played in the District 5 Tournament in Florence on June 24th and 25th.

Brittany Bennett has been hired as Coker University’s next head softball coach, announced by Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Facilities Dr. Lynn Griffin.
Knox named as DHS’ assistant athletics director
Darlington High School has named Bradley Knox as its assistant athletics director, the school announced on its Facebook page.
Knox is a native of Darlington.

Darlington Boys Little League team played in the District 5 Tournament on Saturday, June 18th. They played teams from Florence and Conway.
Quad wins 2 against Bishopville
The Ladies American Legion softball team (The Quad) representing Post 13 from Darlington, Post 53 from Hartsville, Post 94 from Lamar, and Post 210 from Darlington, easily won a double-header against Bishopville by scores of 18-0 and 11-1.
