On Sunday, May 7, 2023, an historical marker was dedicated at Cherry Grove Baptist Church, located at 552 E. Billy Farrow Hwy. in Darlington. The marker recognizes nearly 150 years at that location but, the church was founded in 1869 by former members of Swift Creek Baptist Church. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
