Child Abuse Prevention workshop held

Darlington Community Foundation and Macedonia Life Skills Center sponsored a Free Community Workshop and Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Luncheon on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, located at 400 S. Main St., Darlington, SC. Child Abuse Prevention information and material was shared from the Children’s Trust of South Carolina. Non-profit organizations and businesses also shared information on their organizations and the benefits and programs they offer the community. Local dignitaries who attended included Darlington County Sheriff James Hudson Jr., Patsy Sawyer (organizer of the event), T.C. Sawyer, and Darlington Police Chief James “Jimmy” Davis.
