City Council to hear Budget

Darlington City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 budget and related rate increases at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Harmon Baldwin Recreation Center. Details can be found online at www.darlingtonSConline.com. First reading of the FY2020-2021 Budget was held Tuesday, June 2, during the regular monthly meeting. Final reading will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, June 29, at City Hall.

  Due to social distancing guidelines, there will be screening procedures prior to entering the facility, that may include, but not be limited to, temperature reading, mask requirement, or metal detector. Seats will be spaced six to eight feet apart, and seats may be assigned. Once comments are made to council, you may be asked to leave to allow others time and space to be heard by City Council.
