Graduates of Clemson Extension’s Health Extension for Diabetes program celebrated successful completion of the program on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023. Throughout the program, which lasts approximately 4 months, participants gained knowledge and resources to better manage their diabetes while working toward personal health goals. Health Extension for Diabetes is a free diabetes education and support program available to community members with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. It is offered in-person and virtually by Darlington County Rural Health and Nutrition Agent, Emily Sweatt.
