Coker closes on-campus sports events to fans
In accordance with local, state and federal health guidelines, the Coker University Athletics Department has announced that all on-campus athletic events will be closed to fans, effective immediately. Attendance restrictions will include home and visiting spectators, family, students, faculty, and non-essential staff. Fans will be able to live stream over a hundred home athletic events on the Cobra Sports Network, a free service available on Coker’s official athletics website www.cokercobras.com. Live stats for each contest will also be available. Attendance restrictions will be for both indoor and outdoor on-campus athletic facilities. Restrictions on attendance includes home baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, field hockey, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis, volleyball, softball, and wrestling. Coker will review these policies in mid-February. Off-campus athletic events, including road games against both South Atlantic Conference and non-conference opponents will be at the discretion of the host institution and will vary depending on location and governmental guidelines. Fans are encouraged to check with host entities for any attendance restrictions.
