Thurs., March 23:  

12:30 P.M. — Rotary Club of Darlington, South of Pearl, 117 Edwards Avenue, Darlington.

6:00 P.M. — Adult Craft Night. Join us for an evening of crafting and new friends as we make door charms to bring good luck to our homes. Basic supplies will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials. For ages 16+.

Sat., March 25: 

8:00-9:30 A.M. — Soup Kitchen 586 W. Broad Street, Darlington. 

1:00 P.M. — Brick-It! Lego Club, Darlington Library, 204 N. Main St., Darlington.

4:00 P.M. — Taste of Lamar, Lamar Town Hall, 117 W. Main St., Lamar. Tickets are $20 each. Come on our and support your town!

Tues., March 28:

8:00 A.M. — S.C. Statewide Virtual Teacher Expo hosted by CERRA, There will be virtual interviews with school district representatives from all over S. C. You may view statewide teacher vacancies, submit your resume’ online, do virtual interviews and obtain information on teacher licensure. go to www.CERRA.org for more information and links to join the online experience.

11:00 A.M. — Darlington Together will meet on March 28 at 11am for a Lunch and Learn type meeting at St. Matthews Church fellowship hall, located at 210 S. Main St., Darlington. Chris Handley, founder of Helping Florence Flourish, will talk to us about how that has helped bring people together and address problems. There will be a buffet lunch at 11:30 or 11:45 followed by questions, discussion, and sharing some of the good things that are already happening in Darlington.

Sat., April 1:

11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. –- Easter Egg Hunt, Darlington Raceway, 1301 Harry Byrd Hwy., Darlington.

11:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. — Egg Scramble Jamboree Festival. Parade starts at 11AM, Gospel Stage from 12PM to 6Pm, Live entertainment on the Main Stage 12PM to 7PM. Vendors will be all along Railroad Ave. all day until 8:00PM.

Mon., April 3:

5:30 P.M. — House of Refuge Ribbon cutting celebration for their newest location. Darlington Library, 204 N. Main St., Darlington.

Tues., April 4:

6:30 P.M. – Lamar Town Council meeting, Town Hall, 117 E. Main St., Lamar, Members of the public desiring to be heard shall give written notice to the Secretary prior to the start of the meeting.

Wed., April 5:

7:00 P.M. – Worship Service, Southside Free Will Baptist Church, 153 E. McIver Rd., Darlington.

Thurs., April 6:

9:30 A.M. — Swamp Fox Quilters Guild meeting, Pee Dee Shrine Club, 3053 East Crescent Circle, Florence. A class on construction of the “Cabin Star” pattern will follow immediately after the meeting. Sat., April 8:

10:00 A.M. — Community Easter Egg-Stravaganza, Coker University, 300 E. College Ave., Hartsville. Join us for a hopping good time (Ages 12 and under). Student volunteers will hide eggs throughout Coker’s law for the little bunnies to find. Families are encouraged to come out early as the eggs will only be available while supplies last.

11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. — Easter Egg Hunt, Southside FWB Church, 153 E. McIver Rd., Darlington. Devotion, prizes and food will be available. www.southsidefwb.com

Wed., April 12:

11:30 A.M. — Annual Golf Tournament, sponsored by Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association (DDRA), held at the Darlington Country Club, 125 Country Club Rd., Darlington. There will be a 4-Person Team Format. Lunch will be from 11:30AM to 12:30 PM with a Shotgun Start at 1:00 PM. Entry fee is $75 per person, $300 per team. Thurs., April 13:

6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. — Sip and Support Wine Tasting Event, will be held at the Grand Old Post Office, 201 Pearl St. in Darlington, in support of the mission to offer affordable cultural opportunities for the Darlington community. Featuring a silent auction, light hors d’oeuvres, and featuring wines from Italy, France, Portugal and Spain. Sam Tinsley of Admintage Distributing will be the wine guide for the evening. 9:00 A.M. — Darlington Spring Cleanup Day, 38 Public Square, Darlington. Trash bags, gloves and pickup grips will be provided. Come out and support your city!

6:30 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. — Taste of Society Hill, Historic 1790 Adam Marshall House, 454 S. Main Street, Society Hill. Admission is $20 per person (Ages 21 and over — Alcohol will be available). Great food and atmosphere. Live music will be presented by ShugaBob. Proceeds benefit Long Bluff Historical Society of Society Hill. 7:00 P.M. – Tent Meeting May 1-May 3, Southside Free Will Baptist Church, 153 E. McIver Rd., Darlington. There will be singing and preaching nightly, celebrating their 70th year as a church through May 3. The entire community is invited to this meeting. Bible preaching nightly. If weather permits, the meeting will be held outside under a tent.

Tues., May 2:
