Community Rice Festival held
On Saturday, September 2, 2023, New Vision presented the 10th Annual Community Rice Festival at New Hopewell Outreach Center, located at 1416 Bethlehem Road, in Hartsville.
There was a parade at 10am, inflatables for the youngsters, live entertainment provided by the Sound of Motown, with Anisha Green, a “battle of the bands”, plenty of games, horseback riding, and an umbrella parade.
A huge crowd turned out for the Community Rice Festival, sponsored by New Vision Community Development Corp., 1416 Bethlehem Road, Hartsville. Taking place at New Hopewell Outreach Center, the event offered a parade, inflatables for the children, live entertainment by The Sound of Motown, over 50 food and retail vendors, many activities and other treats.
