Construction Begins for Fallen Officers Memorial

Allison Carraway, president and founder of the Terrence F. Carraway Foundation is so excited to share that construction on the SC Fallen Officers Memorial has officially begun. The property is located at the corner of 611 South Main St. and D. Ave, which was donated by Mayor Curtis Boyd. Gilbert Construction has broken ground on the project and Brown Memorials will be providing the granite monuments in tribute to our fallen officers.
The purpose of the SC Fallen Officers Memorial is to give friends, family and loved ones a place to pay homage to the memory of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in this state and to be a place of solace and respite during all the day’s hustle and bustle.
Not only will this memorial provide a permanent place of reflection and reverence, the TFC Foundation will ensure that the SC Fallen Officers Memorial will serve as an interactive entity for all citizens.
