Coroner reports skeletal remains discovery
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee confirms the finding of skeletal remains in a wooded area near Darlington on September 21, 2023. Hardee directed any questions to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office. “Sheriff Hudson has his team and his Anthropologist on the scene,” Hardee stated, “They, along with their colleagues at SLED , will process the area and conduct a formal investigation in hopes to make a determination as to who this person may be”.
