County Crime Watch meeting held

The Darlington County Crime Watch and Neighborhood Partners held their monthly meeting on April 27, 2023, at the Matthews & King Education Center, located at 115B Exchange Street in Darlington. PICTURED HERE: The speaker was Ms. Kameesha Dupree from Vantage Point (a division of CareSouth Carolina), who presented helpful information regarding the safety and health of the senior citizens in our community. During these monthly meetings, representatives from each neighborhood/community give a report on the crime, drug activity and other events occurring in their respective areas. The group discussed ways to combat crime and violence, as well as how to motivate and include more members of the community in positive ways to build up our neighborhoods rather than standing by and seeing them destroyed.
