Darlington Police department honors retiring crossing guards

Ms. Eloise Ross (above left) is retiring from Darlington City Crossing Guard Duty after 34 dedicated years of service and Ms. Darlene Ross (above right) is retiring from Darlington City Crossing Guard Duty after 27 dedicated years of service. Chief Kelvin Washington said, “The City of Darlington and the residents of the Darlington community congratulates and commends these fine ladies on their many years of service to our community. They along with our other crossing guards work day in and out to make sure that our children are able to get to and from school safely.”
