The Darlington Police Department’s annual National Night Out was held along Pearl Street Aug. 2. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. During this annual event, local citizens are able to enjoy the festivities, interact with law enforcement and communicate their concerns in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
