The Florence Christian School Eagles visited the Trinity Collegiate Titans on April 28th for an exciting baseball game. In the first inning, the Eagles scored 3 runs to give them an early lead over the Titans. While the Titans were able to get one on the board in the 2nd inning, they went scoreless through the next two innings afterwards, while the Eagles only built upon their lead with 4 more runs, putting the score at 7-1 going into the 5th inning. Both teams scored 1 run in the 5th but a spark was rising within the Titans. In the 6th inning, the Eagles struck out and the Titans rose to the plate with the game possibly on the line. 2 runs were scored by the Titans and much needed momentum was established going into the 7th inning with a score of 8-4. This momentum and energy was quickly silenced by the Eagles as they went on to score and then strikeout the Titans in the 7th inning. The FCS Eagles walked away with the dominant win over Trinity Collegiate 9-4.
