Edward Steven Cribb

Edward Steven Cribb, age 78, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. A private graveside service with only immediate and extended family will be held at a later date at Spring Branch Baptist Church in Nichols, SC.
Ed was a humble servant of Christ, a loving husband and father, and a hard worker. He immensely enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He cherished long drives in the country, discussing current events with anyone who would listen, breaking bread blessed with thanks, and sharing Biblical lessons with his children and grandchildren. In their eyes, he was the shining light on the hill.
Rather than ask you to spend an hour or two of your life attending a typical funeral visitation this coming Sunday, Ed would rather you schedule an hour or two and spend it with some of your closest loved ones this Sunday. Make special memories with them during those hours. Let them know they are the most important person in your world. Then, if you wish, share the memories you created on Ed’s Tribute Page located at www.BelkFuneralHome.com.
Ed was born in Charleston, SC on August 27, 1944 to the late Cornie Rufus Cribb, Sr. and Vacie Simmons Cribb, who were an outstanding mother and father. He proudly served the United States of America in the Navy. He worked on the family farm and as a diesel mechanic for many years.
He is survived – and will be sorely missed and always fondly remembered – by his wife, Bonita Cribb, and their children: Todd Manson (Tara) of Darlington, Scott Manson of Darlington, Julie Galloway (Brad) of Garden City, Amie Howell (Stephen) of Florence, Jason Cribb (Terri Anne) of Patrick, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Rufus Cribb (Priscilla) of Darlington and Jerry Cribb (Carolyn) of Hartsville.
