Falcons victorious in men’s basketball game

The Darlington Falcons defeated the Hartsville Red Foxes 40-36 in a varsity basketball match in Darlington on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
The game started out tough for the rival teams as they continued to score neck and neck into the halftime. The second half saw the Falcons push hard against the Red Fox defense for a more decisive lead until the end of the game, when the Falcons came out victorious over their rival.
Qualik Lewis led the Falcons the game high score of 16 points followed by teammate Steven Williams with 9 points and Jayden Wingate with 8 points. Chuck Keith scored 7 points for the Falcons followed by Green with 2 points.
Hartsville’s Kam Foman led the Red Foxes with 11 points followed by Deandre Huggins and Jamari Briggs with 7. Xavion Robinson scored 4 points followed by Tristan LeXander with 3 and Treion McFarland with 2.
