Gospel in the Park returns
The Gospel in the Park Concert Series returns for its 16th season at 5pm on May 7th in Pride Park, located at 630 S. 6th Street in Hartsville S.C. The theme is “Bringing Unity into Our Community”. The Gospel in the Park Series was founded and organized by Barbara Carraway and the late Loretta Richardson, to go outside the wall of the church in order to save souls and provide gospel entertainment, bringing everyone to common ground within our community.
Gospel in the Park is a six-month program which begins in May and ends in October. A devotional service will be rendered by Pastor J.D. Blue and The Second Missionary Baptist Church Family. Live entertainment will be provided by The Amazing Singing Angel and Sumter Volinaires, both of Sumter, The Anointed Voices of Batesburg, Evangelist Michelle Tucker and Worship of Orangeburg, Bobby Wilson and The Chosen Ones, and many more.
