GSSM offers a variety of summer camps

Hartsville’s Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics has the state’s top Summer STEM Camps for rising 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th graders. Live on campus, attend a day camp, or experience a virtual camp like no other.

Summer STEM – Virtual Camp

In this five-day camp, you’ll log in twice a day to interact with your classmates and instructor, and you’ll spend some time off line working on self-guided projects. Your instructor will even have virtual “office hours” to help you work through any questions or challenges in real-time! A wide variety of courses are offered during Summer STEM, including but are not limited to, STEM’s Greatest Hits, Anatomy, Engineering Around Town, and Virtual Physics for Virtual Worlds!

GoSciTech – Residential Camp
GSSM’s annual week-long residential summer camp provides a hands-on experience for science and tech enthusiasts. Courses include Anatomy & Physiology, Anthropology, Arduino Robotics, Build Your Own Computer, Engineering and many more. Open to rising 8th, 9th, and 10th graders in South Carolina.

CREATEng – Day Camp

Working in teams, the students participate in daily engineering challenges and have an opportunity to experience Engineering in Action while visiting a local company and interacting with guest speakers.

iTEAMS Xtreme – Day Camp
