Hartsville man arrested for drugs

On Monday, August 1, 2023, Darlington County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant off Tison Dr., in the Hartsville area of Darlington County, and discovered more than 5 Marijuana plants were being grown on the property. The search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation, Sheriff James Hudson Jr’s office said. David Paul Howle was arrested at the scene. He is charged with Manufacturing/Possession of Other Substances in Schedules I, II, III with the Intent to Distribute, First Offense.
This investigation is still ongoing and more charges may follow, Sheriff’s deputies report.
