Hartsville man arrested for drugs, weapon

On Thursday, August 24, 2023, Darlington County Deputies executed a Search Warrant on Field Lark Drive in the Hartsville area of Darlington County and recovered Cocaine, Marijuana, and a handgun, according to Major David Young of the Darlington County Sheriff’s Dept. This Search Warrant was the result of an ongoing Narcotics Investigation being conducted by the Hartsville Police Department and the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office. Shanard Joseph Woodham was arrested at the scene and charged with multiple Narcotics and Firearm violations. This investigation is still ongoing and more charges may follow. Darlington County Sheriff James Hudson Jr. and his department are committed to cracking down drugs and crime in Darlington County.
