Hartsville softball advances after 4-3 victory against Darlington

Tuesday, March 29th, the Darlington lady Falcons traveled to Hartsville to take on the lady Red Foxes in a varsity softball match.
Darlington got on the board first in the 3rd inning by stringing together a few base hits to score a run. Hartsville would score 2 in the bottom of the 4th inning to go ahead but the Falcons came right back to go back ahead with 2 runs of their own in the 5th inning. With single runs in the bottom of the 5th and 6th innings, the Lady Foxes put enough on the board to pull out the 4-3 win.
Alyssa Poston got the win for the Foxes pitching 7 innings, stiking out 6 with 2 walks.
At the plate Myah Harvey, Kindan Dawson, Abby Byrd, and Jaysha McCullough each had a hit for the Lady Foxes. Dawson had 2 RBI including the game winner.
