Human remains discovered in Darlington County woods
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after human remains were found in a wooded area, off Bethlehem Road, in Hartsville on Friday, January 13th. Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee said the remains found in the Byrdtown Community have not been identified as yet. The Coroner expects to make a determination as to the identity of this person in the next few day. Foul play is not suspected at this time. SLED is assisting in the investigation.
