On April 21st, the Mcbee Panthers visited the Lamar Silver Foxes for a baseball matchup. The game began with Lamar scoring two runs in the first two innings. Mcbee looked to combat this deficit in the third inning but only scored one run before getting out. Lamar leaped ahead with six runs and a massive lead of 8-1 to close out the third inning. The fourth inning began with a comeback spark by Mcbee, the Panthers scored three runs and were able to strikeout the Silver Foxes to keep the score at 8-4. However, the next two innings didn’t favor the Panthers as they didn’t score at all and the Silver Foxes added onto their lead with one run in the fifth inning. Mcbee was able to score two runs in the last inning, but by then it was too late. Lamar went home with the win over Mcbee with a score of 9-6.
