Local coronavirus cancellations, changes

Florence-Darlington Technical College’s baseball and softball games have been suspended through Sunday, April 5, because of coronavirus fears.
Also, the Kalmia Gardens Oyster Roast in Hartsville, set for March 21, has been postponed until October.
In addition, Coker University in Hartsville is moving all classes to online instruction through at least March 27. All university-sponsored events are canceled through the same period.

Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School has temporarily closed and will conduct classes online. The school will remain closed throughout the end of the month of March.
All events and after-school activities are postponed for the month of March and will be rescheduled.
The Darlington City Planning Commission will reschedule its joint meeting of city boards and civic groups from March 19 to a later date.
The commission will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. April 21, at City Hall, 400 Pearl St., instead.
All facilities within the McLeod Health organization will restrict visitation.
Visitors will be limited to no more than two guests over 14 during normal visitation hours. Children 14 and under cannot visit.
All visitors exhibiting signs or symptoms of illness (fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose) will be asked not to visit patients at McLeod Health.
