The Town of Lamar was under a Boil Water Advisory for 3 days after E. coli bacteria was discovered in the town’s water supply. The City of Darlington, City of Hartsville, Hartsville’s Lowe’s Home Improvement, and the Town of Society Hill all came together and donated 7 pallets of water to the Town of Lamar SC in their time of need. A special thanks to all who came together to organize this and help our neighbors. We are one county, truly one community of brothers and sisters. We love and help each other.
