Pilot Club of Darlington holds Light-A-Light Christmas tree

On Dec. 6, members of the Pilot Club of Darlington gathered for the annual lighting of their Light-A-Light Christmas ceremony. The tree’s lights symbolize donations made to the club’s scholarship fund in honor of or in memory of loved ones. The following were honored: Pilot Club of Darlington members John and Bebe Frank, Leon and Bonnie Langley, Roy, Maggie, Gracie and Langley Smith, Julie Scott and Cal Scott, Gracyn and Pierce Benton, Addyson and Norwood Ridgill and Luke Flowers. The following individuals were lovingly remembered: Leslie and Nell Newsome, Kenneth and Lottie Bryant, Karen F. Harwood, Phil Manrequez, Ricky Williams, John and Margaret Frank, Horace and Laura Langley, Miriam Campbell, Jim Stone, Tommy Britt and Winfred Flowers.
