Redfoxes trample Airport in 4A Playoffs on Nov. 5

Friday, November 5th, the Hartsville Red Foxes defeated the Airport Eagles in the first round of the 4A regional playoffs 70 to 13 at the Kellytown Stadium. The first quarter saw a glimpse of what was to come after Jonathon Flemister, Carmello McDaniel, and J’Shawn Anderson brought Hartsville 3 touchdowns over Airports one. Things continued to pick up for the Red Foxes into the second quarter after Flemister, J’shawn, Mcdaniel, and Lewis all brought an additional 28 points to the score board bringing the Red Foxes to a 49 to 7 lead over the visiting Airport Eagles. After half time, the Eagles saw a break from the carnage of the first half and were able to land a touchdown (followed by a failed Kick) but were still unable to prevent the Red Foxes from scoring two more touchdowns by Aiyon Royal and Dashun Williams. Things began to slow down for both teams by the start of the final quarter. the only touchdown was from Hartsville’s Hykeem Waters followed by a kick from Sam Guttry. Come out this Friday night to the Kellytown stadium as the Hartsville Red Foxes take on Myrtle Beach in the second round of the playoffs. Go Red Foxes!
