Sgt. Pushup visits Darlington

All over the country, Sgt. Patrick Palmer (also known as Sgt. Pushup) speaks to hundreds of children about the importance of kindness. He appeared at the Darlington International Dragway on Saturday, August 5, 2023, to educate children on the dangers of bullying and how to stop it. He also had plenty of books on hand for the kids. Sgt. Patrick Parker (a/k/a Sgt. Pushup) was in Darlington this past weekend to distribute elementary children’s books and to increase awareness of his efforts to stop bullying. Sgt. Pushup stopped by the News & Press offices this morning. He has provided well over a million meals by doing pushups. He has done millions of pushups (10 or more for each meal he has provided). He was at the Darlington International Dragway, 2056 E Bobo Newsom Hwy, Hartsville, SC 29550, ALL DAY Saturday, August 5, 2023, to give out books to elementary school children and to talk with them about how to stop bullying. If you see his jeep, ask him to show you the signatures of famous people on it).
