Hartsville Boys Golf

Congratulations to the Red Foxes for Winning the Region VI AAAA Championship as well as placing 6th in the Lower State Championship in Florence on May 11th. Led by Drew Andrews shooting an 81 and Jacob Pulling shooting an 84 through 18 holes. The Red Foxes have solidified their bid the State Championship to be played on May 17-18th.

Hartsville Vs. Darlington Baseball

The Red Foxes won out over the Falcons in both games of the two-game series on May 11th and 13th. In game one the score was 3-1, Hartsville’s Taylor, Cannarella, and Morris each scoring runs in the top of the 5th. Darlington’s Simes scoring the only run. In Game two the score was 3-2 with Hartsville’s McFarland scoring in 7th off an RBI from Cannarella. Mcfarland scored 2 runs in the game and Moore also scored a run. Darlington’s Samuel and Simen’s both scored runs in the 1st Inning off errors by Hartsville. Hartsville has advance to the playoffs playing Airport in round 1.

Hartsville Vs. Darlington Softball

Darlington beat the Red Foxes in both games of the series giving the Falcons the Region VI AAAA title. This is the first time in several years the Falcons have been able to beat the Red Foxes. In game one Darlington one off of a walk off hit by Katelyn Church in the bottom off the 9th. Madie Andrews pitched all 9 innings for the Falcons, allowing only 4 hits with 10 strikeouts. Kanas Cassidy and Ary Mcphail also scored runs for the Falcons. Hartsville’s Alyssa Poston and Chelsea Ghoens scored runs for Hartsville. In game two Brayli Weathford closed out the win for Darlington, pitching the final 2 inninngs allowing zero hits, zero runs, zero walks. Shaniya Jackson, Savannah Evans, and Kansas Cassidy scored runs for the Falcons in the 7th inning. Hartsville’s Avarie Easters scored the only run for Hartsville in the 1st inning. Darlington will be advancing to the playoffs.

Lamar Baseball

Lamar Sliver Foxes played a double header against East Clarendon on May 10th. East Clarendon won over the Sliver foxes in both games. The score for game one was 9-0. The score for game two was 7-5. Lamar’s Jackson scored 2 runs. McManus, Poole, and Windham each scoring 1 run for the Silver Foxes.

Lamar Softball

The Sliver Foxes played Crestwood in a two-game series on May 10th and 11th. Lamar won both game with a resounding lead. The score for game one was 21-5 with each player on the team scoring runs lead by Emmy Copeland with 4. After 13 runs in the 3rd inning the game was called due to the 10 run mercy rule. The score for game two was 15-0. The game was also called in the 3rd inning due to the 10 run mercy rule. Lamar’s Anderson was at pitcher allowing zero hits, zero runs, with 9 strikeouts.
