On Saturday, August 26, 2023, Darlington County Long Term Recovery Group, Hartsville Church of Christ and The American Red Cross sponsored their monthly Hurricane Preparedness event at Hartsville Church of Christ, 901 W. Bobo Newsom Hwy. in Hartsville. The group educates and assists local residents and their families on how to prepare for the worst disaster.
