Trinity-Byrnes participates in Classical League Spring Forum

Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School’s Latin Chapter, consisting of 38 middle and high school students, traveled to Lexington, SC to participate in the South Carolina Junior Classical League (SCJCL) Spring Forum along with students from nine public schools.

The Spring Forum consists of academic and athletic contests, including a Certamen, or battle of the brains, Olympika, chariot races, and 100 and 200 yard team relays. Trinity-Byrnes students placed in the top 3 in the majority of topics covered, as well as in the games.

The new state officers from TBCS consist of:

• Andrew Saverance – SCJCL 1st Vice President 2018-2019

• Carson Munn – SCJCL President 2018-2019
