Trinity victorious 52-21 in Homecoming Game
The first quarter started tight as both the Titans and Highlanders scored touchdowns on each other. However, Trinity ran the ball for an additional 2 points putting them ahead 8-7. The second quarter saw the Titans expand their lead over the Highlanders with 3 more touchdowns for a total score of 29-7 into the half time. After halftime and the Trinity Homecoming ceremony, the Titans kicked off with another hard offensive push against the Heathwood Hall Highlanders scoring an additional 2 touchdowns over the visitors single touchdown and missed field goal. By the end of the third quarter, Trinity was still in the lead 43 – 13. Heathwood Hall scored one last touchdown and 2 extra points in the last quarter, but it wasn’t enough to catch up to Trinities impressive lead. After another touchdown by Trinity, the fourth quarter ended with the final score 52 – 21 and a victory for the Trinity Titans.
