Two arrested for drugs, firearms

On Friday, June 23, 2023, Darlington County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a Search Warrant off Ashland Road in the Hartsville area of Darlington County and recovered nearly a half ounce of Methamphetamine and three firearms. The search warrant was the result of an ongoing Narcotics Investigation. Thomas Lee Campbell and Byrne Chad Campbell were arrested for various charges at the scene, according to Darlington County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Thomas Lee Campbell was charged with Manufacture/Distribution, Etc. of Methamphetamine (1st Offense) and Possession of 28 Grams or Less Marijuana and 10 Grams or Less Hash (1st Offense). Bryne Chad Campbell was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Violent Felon (2 Counts), Possession/Sale/Disposal of a Stolen Vehicle valued at Less than $10,000, and the Manufacture, Distribution, Etc. of Methamphetamine (3rd or Subsequent Offense).
This investigation is still ongoing and more charges may follow.
