Vehicular assailant held on charges

On Sunday, June 11, 2023, Darlington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on Ebenezer Road, in the Darlington County Area, in reference to an individual that had been run over by a vehicle. Due to the evidence recovered at the scene, the victim appeared to have been run over intentionally. On Thursday, June 22, 2023, as a result of the investigation, Justin Leonard Ailes was arrested and charged with Assault/Attempted Murder. The case is still on going at this time.
