Woman robs Food Lion in Darlington

A woman robbed the Food Lion in Darlington Dec. 3, police say. The Darlington Police Department says that about 9:25 a.m., a black female wearing a dark jacket, red hood and dark sunglasses with gold trim entered the Food Lion at 110 Express Lane and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect weighed approximately 120 pounds and was approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall. She left with an undisclosed amount of cash in a silver, newer-model Toyota with a paper tag. The public is asked to contact the Darlington Police Department at 843-398-4026 if they have any information about the incident. The same woman was also being sought by Florence police after an attempted robbery in Florence the same day.
